A journey from pixels to pictures Sumit Singh shares his story:
"As a UI/UX designer, photography started as a hobby—an escape from my demanding work. Initially, it was just a way to unwind, capturing moments that caught my eye. But when I shared my images with friends, their encouragement pushed me to explore this art further.
Drawn to nature’s intricate details, I found myself focusing on Nature and Wildlife photography, especially in urban escapes. My goal? To highlight the overlooked beauty of the natural world and bring attention to the details that often go unnoticed.
Peacocks have always inspired me, and this particular shot was one I had envisioned for a long time. Seeing it come to life was immensely satisfying—where the perfect subject, lighting, and composition aligned for a fleeting yet magical moment.
To capture this, I used my EOS 80D. Shooting at 1/640s, f/5.6, and ISO 800, I was able to freeze the moment while preserving the intricate details and colors that make peacocks so mesmerizing."
